My name is Sijmen Duineveld. I obtained my PhD in Economics in 2019 from the University of Augsburg.

My research interests are macroeconomics, social policy, labor economics and numerical methods. I am especially interested in endogenous business cycle theory, and optimal social policy from a life-cycle perspective.

I have developed two toolboxes, which can be found under Tools. The Promes toolbox can solve macroeconomic models with projection methods. The CSD toolbox uses perturbation methods to solve DSGE models, and can also solve models featuring an attracting limit cycle.
